It seems to be a bug in the theme and I have contacted the Author on the problem. Jim

The thing is it doesn't do it on everyones computer. I went to my wifes and it is fine there. I tried to change the Resolution on my computer and didn't make a difference. The Forum smf support team think it is a bug in the theme. I really hate to change the theme as I like this one. Jim

Firefox seems to be handling it just fine.

I flat out refuse to use IE.  Its the target of every bug, worm, malware, and virus thats out there.

I like Firefox too. The problem I have with it is in the editing the site. The HTML codes don't work together. Firefox has there own html code that is color coded and makes it hard to make a site on. That is why Firefox is so safe from Hackers. Jim

I'm using Google Chrome and I have no problems other than at first but I had the same issues with IE8 , I still have IE8 and Foxfire, and a few others, but I have very few issues with Google Chrome and most of the time it is very fast, it took a little while to get used too and I'm still finding out little trick it can do.

I just checked the site with IE8 and I have the same problems with the right side of the screen be cut off somewhat, I also noticed that the text/sentence goes a little further (by 4 spaces) before going down to the next line with IE 8 compared to Goggle Chrome.

Well, it's not my posts, but everyone elses posts are being cut off on the right edge. Maybe the backround is too narrow.

For some reason there is a bug in the them. Just can't figure why on some computers and not others. Browser has nothing to do with it. As my wifes computer is IE8 and running windows 7 like me, but on her computer there isn't the problem. I have contacted the Author but don't think I'll ever hear back from him. It may come down to putting another theme in that works for all. I can't edit in the Admin. panel which makes it a bigger problem.  Evil

Sometimes mine is cut off on the right, just a little bit (with AOL); but if I maximize the screen, it's ok...then if I then restore it down, it's Ok...so maximize and see what happens.  :Smiley

there's a button near the refresh button on internet explorer it's the compatibility view  it's supposed to help view older sites better with newer browsers but i think it might be the problem maybe.  I didn't have a problem viewing the new pages but i was curious about as to what the problem could be so i was checking different stuff and when i turn that on it cut off the text on the right side
might be the problem

Big Thanks to townjos. He hit the problem right on. For some who have IE 8 got to page or tools and you can turn it off in the tools. Jim  Grin
